Southern Wesleyan Athletics Recognized for Their Spiritual Outreach

Earlier this month, at the annual National Christian College Athletic Association Convention in nearby Greenville, S.C., the Sports Ministries Award, which recognizes member institutions for their commitment to spiritual outreach, was presented to Southern Wesleyan University Director of Athletics Chris Williams. The Sports Ministries Award is sponsored by the Center for Sports and Physical Therapy, located in Marion, Ind.

Tyson John, who enjoyed a decorated soccer career at Southern Wesleyan University is continuing his career with the Fredericksburg Gunners in the Premier Development League.
